Hi, my name is Anson Yuen and I am the President for The Mind Initiative this year! My role is to lead our organization in supporting and educating the community regarding mental health. I have a strong passion for helping those around me and a stronger passion in learning about how to sustain positive mental health, leading me to believe that The Mind Initiative is the perfect place for me to help others in the community and support my learning. Hi! My name is Kelly Guo and I am the Vice President of The Mind Initiative for the 2019-2020 year. I have a passion for graphic design and will be working to create and promote the brand of The Mind Initiative in the coming future in addition to general operation management. With the growing issue of mental health, The Mind Initiative is an organization with the goal of spreading awareness and compassion. I wholeheartedly support this pursuit and will do my part to learn and help empower others within my year as an executive on TMI. Hi, my name is Sabrina Yuen and this year I am the Marketing Director of The Mind Initiative. My role is to create and post graphics/information on our social media accounts. I’m excited to work with this team again this year to create awareness in our community and I am looking forward to learning more about this topic! Hey! My name is Rebecca Zhong and I am the Logistics Director for The Mind Initiative for the year 2019-2020. My role in the organization is to coordinate the details and lead our future events. I’m ecstatic to be working with The Mind Initiative to promote mental health awareness in our community. I live by the motto ‘Mental Health Over Everything’ because at the end of the day, mental health should be a priority of all youth. HARRY LIN
Outreach Director
Hi guys! My name is Harry Lin and I’ll be the outreach director for The Mind Initiative this year. I’ll be responsible for managing the organization’s community presence and working to grow its reach. Over the course of the year, I’ll be aiming to increase our local and global presence through our ambassadors program. This role is important to me - I’ve faced mental health issues personally as well as through a friend’s struggle - so I’ll be working my hardest to reduce stigmas against mental health issues and increase awareness.
